Impetigo

Impetigo is a common, but contagious, bacterial skin infection.  It can occur after injury such as an insect bite, or chronic skin conditions, like eczema.  Lesions can affect any part of  the body, but are most common on the face.  Prescription medications are usually needed to clear impetigo.
